Composite Veneers
Composite veneers are simply bonded tooth colored composite restorations that are "veneered" to the outer covering of anterior upper or lower teeth. They are similar to porcelain veneers in that they are usually a cosmetic procedure that brightens and align the front teeth. They are less expensive that porcelain venners, but they do not last as long. They tend to stain over time, but the good news is that they can be polished and brightened if needed anytime. That is, if the composite veneers chips or discolors it can be re-bonded and brightened very easily without any real affect on the tooth.
